In Basel biowaste does not belong in the garbage but should be recycled. Radschaft is, therefore, offering a convenient and sustainable solution for the collection and recycling of biowaste for private households and, at the same time, supplies them with products from local producers and shops.
Our Goal
The Radschaft circular project collects bio-waste in the Gundeldingen, Bachletten and St.Alban quarters, which is then composted. As a result, bio-waste is used as a resource in the form of fertilizer and local, sustainable products find their way to the consumer.
The aim of Radschaft is to use municipal resources more efficiently and sustainably and to support the local nutrient cycle by turning it into high-quality compost. For low-noise and flexible use, as well as for CO2-neutral transport, cargo bicycles with trailers are used. In order to avoid empty drives and to be able to offer an extended service at the same time, high-quality local products are included in the supply offer.
